[webco-beta] integrating building passes page with security's 'Access' system

I have a few questions before we can start implenting the electronic
equipment pass system and do away with the paper passes. Recall that
Rene Saldana from Security will give security guards access to
WebCheckout from within his MS Access system.
1) He should have guards log in from the front page:
http://webco.artic.edu/webco/wco
2) Since people can come and go at any time, day or night, what will
the guards encounter when the WebCo server is being backed up? Warp
error or something else? Advice?
3) How long a period of inactivity is required before a session times out?
4) The guards computer stations will or will not need fixed IPs to
automatically log in as security stations?
5) To prevent guards from starting long searches resulting from
entering no search criterion, is it possible to trap for such events?
This could cause a serious bog down at an inopportune time.
6) Just to make the results VERY clear, can you move the patron's
name to the start of the second line (rather than in the middle)?
Also, the checkout id appears twice on each result - the second
occurance could be removed.
Thanks,
Alex.
