*FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE* Chicago, IL
In keeping with the WebCheckout mission to address all the operational
needs of our customers, we are very excited to announce the first
release of the WebCheckout Personnel Scheduling Module. Personnel
Scheduling has long been a moving target on the WebCheckout radar
insofar as finding a standardized approach to manage the different
shifts and schedules for staff and especially student workers, whose
part or full time availability tend to be “organic,” to put it mildly.
To help manage these fluctuating schedules, we have adopted a new
“polling” paradigm which allows operators to send email availability
requests to sets of workers, coalescing their responses, and giving the
operator a simple interface for assigning workers to events. For
example, if you need two video technicians for an event and have a pool
of ten to choose from, you can send batch emails to any or all of them
requesting their availability to work the event. Upon receipt, the
worker simply clicks to indicate whether they are available or not and
the Personnel Scheduling Module aggregates the responses into a simple
interface for assigning people to roles for the event.
The Personnel Schedule Module allows you to define as many roles as you
like and any event can have as many roles as are required. Examples
of such roles and their use in the context of WebCheckout are: AV
technician for equipment delivery and setup, Cameraman for filming
events and Editor.
Please contact our sales department to schedule a demonstration of the
new WebCheckout Personnel Scheduling Module.
