Greetings WebCheckout Community and Friends,

WebCheckout continues to galvanize its position within the Higher
Education market as the leader in resource scheduling and management.
In particular, 2008 has proven to be the “Year of the Art School” with
several notable mentions across North America.

The Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) was the first art
school to join the WebCheckout Community in 2008. Founded in 1873,
MassArt is one of the oldest, and the only publicly funded,
free-standing art school in the US. MassArt also holds the honor of
being the first art college in the US to grant a degree. WebCheckout
will help MassArt to continue to provide its students with the resources
needed to complete their degree programs.

The California College of the Arts (CCA) in Oakland and San Francisco
followed suit. Formerly called the California College of Arts and
Crafts, CCA has a rich history of influencing - and in some cases
establishing - late 20th century art movements. Among these are the
ceramics movement of the 1960s, the photorealist movement of the 1970s,
and the Bay Area Figurative Movement. WebCheckout is being deployed in
various areas within both CCA campuses to manage their expansive
equipment inventory loaned to students.

The WebCheckout hometown of Chicago has given birth to Flashpoint
Academy: a brand new, highly visible and upwardly mobile 2-year school
dedicated to the advancement of higher learning in the field of digital
arts and entertainment technologies. Flashpoint adopted WebCheckout
this summer as a ground floor technology to manage their rapidly growing
facility.

Another recent addition to the WebCheckout Community is the University
of Pennsylvania School of Design (Penn Design). Penn Design not only
holds the distinction of being a member of the elite Ivy League, but
also having a long list of notable alumni including architect Louis
Kahn. WebCheckout will be deployed in the Undergraduate Fine Arts
Photography Department as its primary equipment and facilities
management tool.

The WebCheckout Year of the Art School is not limited to schools in the
United States. Concordia University Faculty of Fine Arts in Montreal
joined the retinue of 2008 WebCheckout art schools this week. Concordia
University Fine Arts boasts the most comprehensive fine arts program in
Canada, with over 3,400 students enrolled in 53 bachelors, masters, and
doctoral programs. WebCheckout will ensure that the Faculty of Fine
Arts has a handle on the supply of portable resources and facilities to
meet their formidable demand.

We are grateful for the confidence these new customers have invested in
WebCheckout to schedule and manage their operations over the long term.

Sincerely,

The WebCheckout Team
