Keeping pace with the changes in Higher Education resource management, 
WebCheckout, Inc. is proud to introduce "Bundles" to its suite of 
WebCheckout Modules.

The WebCheckout Bundles Module enables users to pre-package and schedule 
multiples of different equipment types that are frequently used together 
with a single click on the WebCheckout scheduling interface.  The 
Bundles Module is yet another example of how WebCheckout works to 
maximize the operational efficiency for its customers.

WebCheckout Bundles are configured via the user interface and can 
contain any number of resources and resource types.  Bundles are 
different that “kits” in the core WebCheckout system in that kits adjoin 
specific items to each other in a fixed manner, whereas Bundles group 
numbers of resource types together, allowing users to add or remove 
additional resources and types to the bundle for every 
checkout/reservation.

Consider a WebCheckout Bundle example of “Outdoor Presentation,” whereby 
the following items are typically needed:  3 wireless microphones, 1 
standard microphone, 2 portable LCD projectors, 1 laptop computer, 2 DV 
Camcorders, 2 Portable Screens, 1 sound mixing kit.

Once the Outdoor Presentation Bundle is clicked, WebCheckout retrieves 
the 12 items using the Reservation by Resource Type Module (a 
requirement to Bundles).  The user can then add or remove additional 
items to the bundle based on the specific circumstances of the 
reservation.  Other examples of Bundles are photo and filming events 
where large numbers of similar equipment types are commonly reserved and 
checked out.  The larger the Bundle, the greater the potential increase 
of efficiency by time saved clicking on each item of the bundle.
